On November 5, 2025, the first day of the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), the first CIIE Cooperation and Matching Conference for Domestic and Foreign Chambers of Commerce was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).Qatar China Luyi Industrial Park was invited to attend the conference, where it explored new paths for international economic and trade cooperation with representatives from 105 chambers of commerce and industry, government officials, and guests from financial institutions across five continents. This highlighted the active role of this key "Belt and Road" project in global industrial collaboration.
Hosted jointly by Bank of China and the China International Import Expo Bureau, this conference innovatively leveraged the CIIE platform to build a multi-party collaborative cooperation matrix. The event included high-end dialogues, signing ceremonies, and other sessions, conducting in-depth exchanges around the core topic of "Giving Play to the Role of Chambers of Commerce and Industry to Serve Bilateral Economic and Trade Exchanges".
As a strategic project strongly supported by the governments of China and Qatar,Qatar China Luyi Industrial Park covers a planned area of 3 square kilometers, focusing on industrial sectors such as petrochemicals and high and new technologies. Relying on Qatar's demand for economic diversification under its "Qatar National Vision 2030", the park has become a "golden springboard" for Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to expand into the Middle East market.
